Can the world bear another line of boutique guitar amps?  YES!



This is such a relevant question because amp builders are everywhere.  Just because you have so many choices in the marketplace, doesn't mean that they're all good or that you have found what is best for you.

We only build stuff that we don't already see out-there.  The guitar amp offerings here at the Institute fit into two categories; our own unique designs or the MegaTone take on a classic.  

From the outside you do notice the look of our gorgous cabinet designs, and many feature the tubes prominently displayed in front (we think half the fun of owning a tube amp is seeing them). Inside we build our amps with custom designed Mercury transformers, tone selected capacitors and resistors, then put it all together with silver-Teflon wire and stainless steel hardware in a cabinet thats as tough as it is good looking.
