A two channel, foot switching, high gain, 10 watt, single ended power amp.  With 10 watts of class-A power, the 2-Tone is loud enough to be heard on stage over the drums in most performance situations if you have the right speaker and PA compliment.  This is also an ideal recording amp.

The power amp in the 2-Tone starts with a fixed-bias, single ended EL-34, running high plate voltage, fed by a fast recovery solid-state rectifier circuit. A pentode tube drives the single power tube into a fantastic Heyboer output transformer.  Expect warm, thick layers of even order harmonic content.

A single input jack feeds two pre-amp circuits, one for clean tones and another for higher gain.  The clean channel has a single gain control, the overdrive channel has its own gain control along with a post gain control for volume matching to the clean channel.  Our tone stack has bass-mid-treble EQ control and is shared with both channels.  The mid control has a built-in pull switch, out for mid boost, in for mid scoop.  Has a transparent master volume control.

A full featured effects loop with separate send/return level controls that can add up to 10 db of extra gain boost or cut, series or parallel return path, and switch for pedal or rack level effects matching.
